Summary
- Fluent in Punjabi
- Maharaaj Ji (Guru Granth Sahib Ji- holy scriptures) Seva (daily) and ensuring the sanctity and respect of Maharaaj Ji is maintained at all times.
-Nitnem (daily prayers to include Sukhmani Sahib)
- Asa di Vaar (hymn singing daily)
- Paath Seva (prayers duties as applicable)
- Kirtan and Katha Seva (hymn singing daily)
- Changing Maharaaj Ji bastar (at least twice a week)
- Kirtan/ Tabla/ Santhia classes (at least twice a week)
- Maintaining a clean and tidy Darbar Sahib (main prayer hall) and Sachkhand Sahib (residence for holy scriptures)
- Undertaking duties both within the Gurdwara Sahib and at the instruction of the management externally i.e. sangat members' residence and/ or other Gurdwara Sahibs
- Assisting in organising, coordinating and prompting activities and community based initiatives (includes without limitation capacity building support) in a non pastroral role
- To participate in the operational functioning of the Gurdwara Sahib in a non pastoral role
- Ensuring that the use of utilities/ facilities/ equipment of SGSSK (by them or others) is not excessive and/ or abusive
- General health and safety awareness and ensuring that no security measures are breached
