Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated Dental Technician to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service. The Band 5 post is based at the Royal Gwent Hospital but will provide cover in Nevill Hall Hospital and support services across Gwent.

BSc/BTEC Diploma in Dental Technology or equivalent and registration with GDC essential.

You will need sufficient experience at Band 5 level in an Orthodontic environment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This is a great post with a huge scope to develop in line with new digital technology and advances in Oral and Orthognathic services. You will be supported and work closely with the Consultants in Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Directorate Manager.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills to join the Team. You must demonstrate initiative and have an enthusiasm to get the job done. The successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate a comprehensive range of technical skills and experience of working in an equivalent laboratory.
