Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

- The prioritisation and management the data/analytics tasks being submitted to HQ R&S, checking that the requests are valid and appropriately worded to enable the data analytics personnel to easily understand the task so that minimal time is wasted by the data team in getting the correct data/answer.

- If additional information from R&S outside of the data team is required to answer the question, then ensuring the relevant teams have been tasked with providing this response is included within your remit.

- Close engagement with the Policy team to support the provision of data for Parliamentary Questions (PQs), Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Subject Access Requests (SARs) and any other requests.

- Monitoring the People Analytics & Data Requests Front Door app for R&S submissions and taking appropriate action to ensure a timely response.

- Managing a DISMA Analytics Task Tracker to ensure oversight of the tasks received and ensuring timely delivery of outputs to meet deadlines.

- Managing training requirements for the whole DISMA team – identifying training requirements, delivery options and funding.

- Developing your data analytic skills to enable you to answer questions from existing reports.

- Supporting the DISMA Team with testing of new functionality and/or bugs/issue fixes as required.

- Support to the Armed Forces Recruiting Programme to facilitate a seamless transition from legacy systems to any new IT system for go-live in April 2027 (TBC). Exact details of these tasks will become clearer as we approach the AFRP go-live date.

Full training and mentorship will be provided to ensure you are able to perform the role with competency.

Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
