Summary
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, administration and sales/operations. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our establishment including staff management, order processing, stock management, order building. **Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Managing Director in overseeing daily operations
- Help manage yard staff and drivers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Assist in staff training and development
- Support in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the management team to make strategic decisions for the business
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in yard and stock managament
- Knowledge of scaffolding and/or equipment hire
- Strong customer service background
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Wllingness to learn the business and take on tasks to alleviate pressure on the Managing Director
