Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust as a Departmental Administrator.

This role is vital in ensuring the effective operation of administrative functions in support of the Ealing ISRH service for London North West University Healthcare.

You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic with previous experience in a role utilising excellent organisational and administrative skills.

You must be able to prioritise constantly changing workloads and be able to act on your own initiative.

This position will liaise closely with the other administration staff and management in the department. You will provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including consultants.

As a contact for stakeholders, patients, and staff the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills.

Previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting would be an advantage. You will also have a detailed working knowledge of MS Office applications including email and excel spreadsheets.

The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, patient focussed and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will describe how the functions of this role will be carried out in each service. The standard job summary is described below:
• To be the key contact for the allocated grouping of clinical staff, services for all patient related and administrative matters.
• To be the key contact for all patients under the allocated service.
• To work within the Clinical Support Team to deliver high quality administrative services to allocated clinical team.
• To monitor patient’s pathway, from referral, escalating issues promptly, in order to ensure compliance with waiting time standards.
• As required, support the coordination of national and local audits by effective data collection.
