The service offers a wide range of short breaks services to children and young people aged 4 to 18 who have a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. The service offers both a short break to parents and quality play and leisure activities to children and young people with activities for a mixture of primary and secondary aged children.

We also run an Advocacy Service.

What does the role require?

The young people we work with would like an enthusiastic, happy and kind person to fill our Short Breaks As and When Group Worker vacancy.

The post may include working across the service to meet the contractual needs; the ability to work flexibly is paramount, evening and weekend work will be expected as part of this role.

The post holder will take on the role of group play leader and have responsibility for engaging children and young people in play and leisure activities. Ensuring the health and safety of the children and young people at all times.
