Summary


We are looking to recruit a administrator to join the Charing Cross Stroke/Transient Ischaemic Attack admin team working with the Sentinal Stroke National Audit Team (SSNAP).

The post holder will cover a range of duties that will ensure smooth running of

the service by supporting both administrative and clinical colleagues. The post holder will focus particularly on

Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) data gathering and inputting for Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) patients. SSNAP is a major national healthcare quality improvement programme and our Stroke service is one of the biggest and comprehensive Stroke treatment centres in the London region. Some of the duties within SSNAP will include:
• Contacting the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) members to gather missing data needed to complete SSNAP records for the patients.
• Liaising with the Lead Administrator for SSNAP in completing and inputting SSNAP data on time for accurate monthly benchmarking.
• Keeping the admissions database for ASU up-to-date so that it is indicating the current SSNAP completion and patient discharge information.
• Reception duties on Stroke/TIA wards which involves administration duties as directed by senior nursing staff.
• Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) administrative duties as directed by the Senior SSNAP Administrator.
• Maintenance of accurate Stroke/TIA patient records and pathways on Cerner as directed by Service/Business managers.
• Provide timely and courteous service to Stroke/TIA patients and colleagues including clinical and management staff.
• Any other administrative duties as requested by the line manager.
