We are excited to announce that we have been invited to bring our expertise and touch of magic to a brand-new setting to provide high quality affordable childcare at MOD Boscombe Down. The nursery opened in April and we are looking for colleagues to join us on our journey to grow the nursery into a thriving and stimulating environment for our children and employees. 

Our new nursery is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. Initially we will have circa 15 employees and places for 60 children. You will be supported by our wider management team including Nursery Manager, Area Manager, and Operations Director it's a real team effort!  

Our Casual colleagues have access to the same training opportunities as our amazing team and you’ll be the first to hear of any permanent roles which suit your skills and experience should you be looking for something more permanent in the future.

Whilst previous experience within a childcare setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for Casual Nursery Assistants who have a genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour! We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you’ll be learning on the job from leading practitioners in the industry! A typical day in the role will include
(depending on your experience):
• Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
• Helping with meals and snack times
• Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
• Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
• Meet and greet families and build great relationships
• Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
