Summary

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Central London

Position Type: Permanent

Company Overview: My client is a dynamic and rapidly growing construction company based in Central London. With a track record of success, they have secured 6 projects in the past year and they are looking to expand their team to accommodate their increasing workload.

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing 2 projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient cost management and successful project delivery. Projects range from £2 million to £30 million all within JCT design and build, based within Central London. Diverse project types, include demolition, soft strip to full demo, 8-10 storey building demo, basement boxes, metal frames, MEP, facades, waterproofing, and weatherproofing.

Relevant Experience:

  • A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Experience in heavy civils, demolition and ground works and frames
  • Familiarity with JCT 2016 contracts.

Requirements:

  • Civils background (not essential)
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to independently run projects for the last 1-2 years.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
