Summary
SWAGGA PCN are seeking an enthusiastic, patient-focused, and independently motivated person to join our existing pharmacy team to provide quality patient-care. We want a person with energy and interest to develop the Pharmacy Technician role through collaborative working. This is a new and developing role taking advantage of the NHS Network Contract DES for the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme. The successful candidate will work across the 16 GP Practices in the PCN, with projects ranging from dealing with prescription requests, cost-saving switches to facilitating medication reviews and systems and process improvements. We expect contribution to the overall medicines optimisation programme acting on best practice models from local and national guidelines. This role will be critical to realising our ambitions to improve patient outcomes in practices, care homes and domiciliary settings.
