Summary

Are you an experienced Oncology Nurse seeking a new role within Berkshire? If so, we want to hear from you! Stroud Resourcing is working with a collaborative and award-winning healthcare provider to recruit a passionate and skilled Sister/Charge Nurse to join their well-equipped Oncology Department.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across 4 or 5 days but part-time hours may be considered for the right individual (minimum 30 hours per week). In exchange for your commitment and enthusiasm, you will be rewarded with a generous salary of up to £44,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do as a Sister/Charge Nurse within the Oncology Department:

- As the Sister/Charge Nurse you'll play a key role in supporting the Oncology Manager with the successful day-to-day running of the Oncology service and team.
- You will lead from the front, supporting your team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care.
- You will be responsible for supporting the oncology nursing education programme.
- You’ll be a role model for the teams values, ensuring all your patients physical and emotional needs are met while using your expert leadership skills to coach, mentor and engage with your team.

To apply for this Senior Oncology Nursing role, you will be required to have the following:

- Be a qualified RGN with current NMC registration.
- Post registration experience working in oncology within a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- To achieve the maximum salary you must be an existing Oncology Sister/Charge Nurse with experience leading nursing teams and supporting junior colleagues with training and professional development.
