Summary

Do you have ITU ward management experience, and are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in Birmingham? If so, we want to hear from you! Stroud Resourcing is seeking a talented and driven ITU Sister/Charge Nurse (RGN) to join our client's dedicated and passionate team. This full-time ITU ward management role offers an excellent salary of up to £53,000 and many fantastic benefits. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across long days including days and nights.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for supporting the ITU Manager with setting up a new ITU Ward from scratch. You will have the autonomy to build your team from the ground up. As a key role model you will Lead from the front, supporting your team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care.

In this role you can also expect to:

- Join a state-of-the-art specialty hospital with 50 beds, 4 operating theatres that’s offering a range of specialty services, including Cardiology, Oncology and Complex Services.
- Provide highly visible supervision and lead from the front to support your clinical team with their training and development.
- Be empowered to make influential decisions, grow & develop the services.

To apply for this Sister/Charge Nurse - ITU job, you will need to be an NMC Registered Nurse with a clinical background in ITU/Critical Care ward nursing. Prior experience as an ITU Sister or ITU Charge Nurse is desirable, but we also welcome applications from experienced Senior ITU Nurses looking to step up into their first management position. To achieve the top end of the salary you must have achieved 60 ITU Credits and have experience working within General or Cardiac ITU.
