SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for an experienced Metal Polisher , Ilkley permanent role.
Main duties will include:
• Carry out aspects of metal polishing including buffing, graining of stainless steel and aluminium.
• Polish stainless steel surfaces to specific finishes, including graining and mirror finishing, according to job specifications and quality standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools (such as buffers and polishers) to smooth surfaces.
• Prepare material surfaces before polishing to ensure clean and defect-free bases for coating.
• Use hand tools and semi-automatic deburring equipment for metal polishing
• Use a variety of hand tools to complete all metal finishing on a variety and size of products.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order, reporting any defaults that may arise.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.
Monday to Friday 38.25 hours per week
Pay rate £13.00 PAYE you will also accrue holiday pay
Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am to 12:45pm- 38.25 hours per week
