Summary

Role overview

Birtenshaw are currently looking to recruit an experienced Manager who is passionate about supporting disabled young adults. You
will be working in a team based in one of our Adult Supported Homes, supporting adults with Autistic Spectrum Condition, learning
disability and/or complex health needs.




We aim to transform the lives of children and young adults we support through our commitment to excellence.

Salary:

£30,000 moving to £33,000 upon completion of probation and relevant level 5 qualification, managing up to four placements

£36,000 moving to £42,000 upon completion of probation and relevant level 5 qualification, managing over four placements




The Main Duties of the role include:

To ensure the service complies with and follows the quality statements as set out by CQC

To manage and supervise staff at designated supported tenancies locations.

To promote the welfare of vulnerable adults in supported tenancies to ensure they are protected from harm.

To ensure and demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies in the designated services

To provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company
requirements

To develop the skills required to manage Adult Services including up to date knowledge about relevant legislation, national policy
and procedures

To develop skills and knowledge to meet the leadership and management competency framework required by external regulation.
