Summary


We are recruiting for a Waiting List Officer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will provide efficient administrative support in all aspects of the Endoscopy department’s work as directed by the Service Coordinator.

You will be responsible for booking Waiting Lists and appointments and be able to communicate with both Patients and Consultants regarding booking appointments within the Trust Policy Guidelines. A good telephone manner is essential.

This includes accurate data input, working in a busy reception area, booking of patients from a waiting list and response to patient enquiries.

To be able to prioritise own workload & work independently using initiative and deal with frequent interruptions is essential.

You would also learn other aspects of the department and provide flexible cross cover as appropriate.
