Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant in our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) school, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional guidance and support to thrive academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
• Building positive relationships with students, offering pastoral care and encouragement.
• Supporting students with their emotional well-being, helping them develop resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborating with the wider school team, including SENCOs and external agencies, to create tailored support plans for students.
