The school seeks to achieve high results from it’s pupils and staff whilst maintaining a supportive, creative and team-spirited environment. The school’s main focus is to support the social, emotional and educational needs of each individual pupil. They need a passionate and inspiring person to help 1 to 1 with their students who need extra academic and emotional encouragement and support.
The school is looking to employ a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time position with the possibility of a permanent position later down the line. The successful applicant will be working with Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 children, helping them to meet their targets and giving them 1 to 1 support. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours and work closely with Teachers to help with the general running of the classroom. If you’re passionate about making a difference and making the learning environment a positive, fun and happy place for the pupils, then this could be the role for you.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2/Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Early Years – Desirable
• Experience in Primary Schools or Nursery settings – 6 Months+
• Excellent classroom management
• Patience and resilience
