Summary
We are looking for an experienced used car salesman to join our loyal team at Select Motors (GB).
Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers and establish rapport to understand their preferences, requirements and making recommendations.
2. Ensuring that a sold car undergoes a pre-delivery inspection and is delivered in prime condition.
3. Provide information about available vehicles, including specifications, features, and pricing.
4. Conduct test drives with customers to showcase vehicle performance and features.
5. Possessing solid knowledge of the vehicles they are selling to effectively match a customer’s needs with the appropriate vehicle and close a sale.
6. Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to reach mutually beneficial agreements for both the customer and the dealership.
7. Coordinate with finance companies to facilitate financing and leasing options for customers.
8. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
9. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, vehicle features, and pricing to provide accurate information to customers.
11. Maintain a clean and organized showroom and lot appearance to enhance the customer’s experience.
12. Collaborate with team members and management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
13. Assisting with the setting up of showrooms and forecourts, including promotional displays
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in automotive sales.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
4. Knowledge of vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage customer information, sales records, and follow-up tasks effectively
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
8. GCSE or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or automotive industry is a plus.
9. Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Job Summary:
As a Used Car Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing used vehicles that meet their needs and budget. You will utilize your knowledge of vehicles, excellent communication skills, and sales expertise to build relationships with customers and facilitate the car buying process.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £ per year
Expected hours: 40 per week (including every Saturday, Sunday on a rota and an allocated day off during each week).

Minimum Requirements:
A professional appearance and demeanour.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
IT literate
Good organisational skills.
Outstanding customer handling skills.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
