Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Teacher for an Ofsted "Good" secondary school in Barnet.
The school is a medium size mainstream secondary school with a supportive and dynamic Science department. Composed of both very experienced, and newly qualified Science teachers. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. This Science teaching role will require you to deliver KS3 and KS4. The school has a bank of resources to support the successful Science teacher and are open to onboarding ECT's.
Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. Ideally, the school is seeking someone confident in raising attainment, prioritising differentiation, and inquiry-based learning.
They would require a paid trial week, or potentially an interview.

SCIENCE TEACHER EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS or equivalent, ECTs welcome to apply
Minimum 1 year SCIENCE teaching experience
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS SCIENCE TEACHER ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
