Summary
• The Imaging Business Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Imaging Business & Performance Manager.
• The post holder will contribute to the monthly reporting process, by ensuring that all accruals and invoices are uploaded onto a monthly spreadsheet in the agreed reporting timetable, collaborating with colleagues in the Financial Management Department.
• The post holder will be expected to work autonomously and be expected to exercise initiative, prioritising conflicting work demands, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with a wide range of internal and external colleagues, exercising tact and diplomacy.
• To work with the Business & Performance Manager to achieve relevant performance targets and to coordinate relevant service development projects for Diagnostic Imaging.
• To collate and distribute the monthly performance report to the Divisional Operations Director.
• Using initiative, interpret the Directorates objectives and analyse working practices.

• To ensure that invoices are raised when appropriate and that invoices received are correctly coded and authorised and accurate records are maintained.
• To work closely with the Business & Performance Manager to ensure all performance targets are monitored and action plans are in place to address concerns across Diagnostic Imaging.
• Work within allocated resources, identifying areas where expenditure may be reduced.
• To maintain, monitor, develop, modify and update complex databases, including setting up queries and reports (e.g. staff details, patient databases, information systems, annual leave, invoices, stock requisitions, income and expenditure, payroll, turnaround times) as required by the Business & Performance Manager & Leadership team.
• Produce written reports on a regular basis and present in statistical format using Excel, including bar and pie charts e.g. presentation of data/report at specific meetings as required.
• Receive and produce performance reports as required and present them at a senior level, alongside performance monitoring and statistical analysis.
