Summary

Organised and dedicated Complex Care Support Worker required for a 36-year-old gentleman who was involved in a road traffic collision, sustaining a number of complex injuries and a traumatic brain injury.

We are seeking an experienced brain injury/complex care waking night worker for 10 hours per week to join our friendly team.

You will be working in the family home, closely with the client’s parents, support team and specialist therapists.

If you are creative, an animal lover and love the outdoors, you would be an ideal fit to assist our client in accessing the community, supporting him with fun activities which will stimulate him and support his rehabilitation.

Our client is classified to be in a low awareness state. He is physically, functionally, and cognitively dependent on others to meet his needs. He is gradually becoming much more responsive and is aware of people he is close to and his surroundings.

As well as care and support, you will be trained by the therapy team to be able to carry out a rehabilitation programme. The therapy team includes an Occupational Therapist (OT), Neuro Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Music Therapist and a Massage Therapist.

Working hours: 10 hours per week to a rota.
Additional hours are available to cover holidays and sickness for days or nights

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and very flexible.

Rates of pay:
Monday to Sunday: £16.00 per hour
Bank holidays: £32.00 per hour

An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full clean driving licence is essential.
