Summary
We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson to work on an Indoor pig unit in Greater Manchester (WN6).
The chosen candidate will assist the existing team on a 400-sow breeding unit.
Candidate Specifications:
High pig husbandry understanding – Ideally 1 year + experience with commercial pigs
Good ability to maintain high welfare standards
Self-motivated to achieve continuous performance improvements
Enjoys working as part of a dedicated team
Ability to take responsibility
Willing to contribute towards continual improvement through new ideas and developments
Salary guide (doe): £25,000 to £30,000
Plus, single-person accommodation on-site if required.
Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday, with every other weekend).
