Location: Cleveland Police Central Headquarters (with some flexibility for home working on occasions)

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Cleveland Police Executive team working specifically to provide an efficient and comprehensive executive PA service to members of the Chief Officer team.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a PA or senior administrator and have excellent organisational skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office and the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.

Duties will include typing letters, diary management and collating complex and confidential information as well as contributing to the overall support function for the Executive team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required and the post holder will have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work effectively as part of a team. This is a busy and demanding role and the post holder will need to have a flexible approach to work, to be able to use their own initiative as well as work effectively as part of the larger team. The post holder will also provide full secretarial support to one or more Boards in terms of arranging agendas, formal minute taking and all associated administrative arrangements. The role holder will be making a direct contribution to creating a future in which Cleveland Police is recognised as a world class organisation for the contribution it makes to the local community.
