Summary

9936 – 40 Hour Checking Technician and Supervisor (ACT Qualified) - Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 40 Hour Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician to work as a Checking Technician and Supervisor at our 033 branch located at 17 Bridge Road, Crosby, Liverpool, L23 6SA.

The proposed shift pattern is to work 5 days a week as follows:

Monday to Friday:

09:00-18:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch break

As a Qualified Accuracy Checking Technician you will lead the dispensing activities through dispensing and checking prescription items quickly and accurately. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch.

As the branch Supervisor you will support the Pharmacy Manager, playing an active role in team building, training and inducting new staff, planning and organising staff rotas and holidays whilst providing excellent customer service to our patients.

To be successful in this role you must be confident in coaching a team and developing their potential. You must have a proven track record of working within a similar role and strong team leadership skills. You must have a passion for Pharmacy, in order to drive the business forward and have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role.

You must be confident in building customer relationships, establishing their needs, providing friendly advice and excellent product knowledge and services.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Proof of your completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) and registration with the GPhC is essential.
