Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, poised for expansion. They are seeking dedicated operatives to bolster their production capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in a fast-paced factory environment.
Ensure accuracy in transferring numbers and maintain clear handwriting.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and prioritize safety at all times.
Approach tasks with a methodical yet efficient mindset, emphasizing quality without cutting corners.
Exhibit keen observation skills and attention to detail.
Utilize hand-held scanners effectively.
Requirements:
Proficiency in PC usage.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.
RTITB Counter Balance Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern:
4 on/4 off, with 12-hour shifts covering both day and night rotations.
Compensation:
Hourly rate: £11.70 (+ £4.09 shift premium per hour).
Additional Information:
Candidates with a background in manufacturing will be given preference.
