Summary
Oakwood Rest Home is a Residential Care Home specialising in Dementia and Elderly Care
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to Join our growing team at Oakwood.
Shift Patterns are 7am-8pm, 7-230, 2-2030 over a 7 day rota, alternative weekends required.
This role requires you to be flexible
Responsibilities:
- Act as shift leader and delegate, support care assistants in their role, ensuring that residents needs have been met
- Supervise care staff ensure that documentation has been completed legibly and accurately.
- Support residents with the administration of medication using an Emar System
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding or redirecting as necessary.
- Perform general office duties such paperwork, liaising with health professionals and family members
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
