Summary

Weekly paid opportunity for experienced support workers looking for flexible nights!

You could be working as a Support Worker in a beautiful home located in the rural location of Yoxall in the Staffordshire Countryside.

If you have experience working within a care setting and are looking for a role where you can choose the days you work and the shift pattern that suits you best, look no further!

The home accommodates up to 11 service users and they specialise in care for:
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health conditions
- Physical disabilities
- Sensory impairments

Your role will be to follow individual personalised care plans with helping the residents to live as independently as possible. There may be aspects of personal care that would need to be carried out.

Every day will be different in this role, but other responsibilities may include reporting condition updates, reporting any incidents to senior staff and general housekeeping.

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Due to the location of the home, having your own transport will be preferred.

Typical working hours will be:
22:00-08:00

This home offers night hours during the week and the weekend, allowing you to choose work days to suit your lifestyle

As a Support Worker you will be paid £12.00 per hour
