Summary

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm), 39 weeks per year.
NOR 155 including 10-place ASD Resource Base
The pupils, staff and Governors of Sofrydd Primary School are looking for dynamic and forward-thinking Teaching Assistants to join our newly established Autism Spectrum Disorder Resource Base supporting the development of the ASD resource base curriculum and inclusive provision.
The successful candidates will form part of an enthusiastic team, communicate well with all stakeholders and play an active part in our inclusive school.
We are looking for someone with a passion for making a real difference, who is committed to developing inclusive provision within the Autism Spectrum Resource Base and across our school. You will be supported in your own professional learning and be part of our team with a passion for professional learning. By receiving high levels of support we expect high aspirations for all in our inclusive school where everyone is encouraged to achieve.
The successful applicant will have knowledge and understanding of curriculum in Wales, the Additional Learning Needs Act and ALN Code of Practice in Wales.

• Demonstrates the ability to support the curriculum for learners with ASD and Additional Learning Needs

• Has the ability to maintain and build partnerships with pupils, parents, staff, Governors and the local community;
• Is a caring practitioner who truly places the wellbeing of all children at the heart of their practice;
