Summary

VIVO, a 50:50 joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, has been awarded places on the Defence FM and Housing Maintenance framework contracts.
Contract Type:  Full Time, Permanent
Location: Based at Lyneham, Chippenham, Wiltshire, GB, SN15 4AB (with frequent travel)
Working Hours:  40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (with on call 1 week in 7)
Salary:  Up to £34,000 dependent on experience, with standby fee of £150 (£35 per call out)
  Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative who will successfully deliver the day-to-day repairs service, providing front line delivery to the MOD families. You will work to deliver highest quality Right First-Time service and carry out technical services tasks. Working efficiently and safety you will maintain our perfect delivery ethos to achieve excellent customer services.

Reporting into the VIVO Works Supervisor you will be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance. This role will see you carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate their competence to multi-skill outside their core trade to include minor plumbing works, building work, and grounds work and drainage related leaks.

Within this role you will also perform complex planning of large jobs, completing and finalizing projects to a high standard, being able to self-snag works on completion.
Other key responsibilities include:

- Installing supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
- Cut openings in structure to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools
- Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending boking pipes and opening clogged drains, toilets, gutters, rainwater pipes and any other plumbing work
- Undertake patch plastering works, tiling, floor laying, decorating replacing of internal and external doors
- Utilise both electronic and paper-based systems to accurately record documentation including the use of materials against each job

  What you’ll need to do this role  It is essential that you hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in a trade related field.
This role will see you travel to other local sites within a close proximity therefore it is essential that you hold a clean and valid UK driving licence.
  It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility   You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
