Summary


We are looking for self-motivated, forward thinking clinicians who are strong team players with the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills to join our MSK POD Band 6 Rotation.

MSK Rotational Band 6 roles provide an opportunity to experience different MSK departments. It will also provide an opportunity to experience work in our service MSK pathway. The pathway aspect incorporates primary care triage which is a collaborative model and based at a single site In Newport. Other aspects to this pathway are undertaking work in minor injury unit and urgent primary care.

The length of rotation is on a 6 monthly basis.

The Physiotherapy service prides itself on providing excellent training opportunities, being committed to following evidence based practice to ensure we provide a high quality service to our patents. We encourage staff development through a structured appraisal system, in-service training programmes, and participation in speciality forums, clinical audit and other development opportunities as they arise.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) covers a wide geographical area and is well situated to allow easy transport links to the various cities along the M4 corridor, the beautiful surrounding countryside including the Brecon Beacons National Park and the South Wales coastline.
