Summary


This post plays a vital role in the Trust and involves supporting the development of our Workforce technological agenda and providing Workforce data analysis and advice to managers and teams.

You must have experience of collating and analysing statistical information, ESR, Expenses and the E-Rostering Systems as you will have overall responsibility for these and will be one of the ‘go-to’ people for technical ESR queries, identifying the root cause of any errors and providing solutions.

You will also need to have the ability to interpret financial data and produce reports, you will need to be an organised multi-tasker, have good negotiating and influencing skills and see deadlines as a challenge to always be met so that we provide a great service to all our stakeholders.

Be an innovator for enabling HR and Workforce related technology within the Trust in order to minimise the use of paper, increase efficiencies in our processes and free up clinical time.

Drive the use of Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Self-Service and Manager Self-Service, be responsible for day to day running and systems administration and ensure accuracy of data held within the system.

Investigate and resolve inquiries related to ESR and expense management systems, employing analytical skills to address issues and provide comprehensive solutions.

Support the Workforce Systems Manager in the reconciliation of the monthly and annual Trust budgets into ESR and reporting of this information.

Provide day-to-day supervision and professional support to members of the Workforce team.

Produce the monthly Business Unit Performance Reports (BUPR) and Integrated Business Performance Reports (IBPR) along with the rest of the Workforce Information Team.

Maintain the work structures function in ESR with the addition/removal of cost centres on the advice of the Finance team, notifying the Resourcing Team, Learning and Development Team and e-Rostering team where necessary to maintain their systems.

Be responsible for the Trust’s e-Expenses system (‘Expenses’ by Software Europe) providing support and advice to Trust staff and the payroll team and delivering group training where necessary.

Maintain, to a high standard, the quality and integrity of data within all Workforce systems in your level of responsibility.

Attend meetings as and when necessary (both internal and external).

Ensure the Trust’s statutory and legal requirements are met in respect to Equality and Diversity reporting (e.g., Public Sector Equality Duty and Workforce Race Equality Standard).

Support the Head of Workforce with the production of papers for the Workforce and OD Committee meeting.
