Summary


Post: Band 5 Occupational Therapist

Location/Base: CAMHS in patents.

Job Summary
To plan and implement individualised Occupational Therapy assessments,
interventions and therapeutic groups to service users aged 13 – 18 years who are
inpatients within the CAMHS wards. To collaboratively work with service users and
members of the multidisciplinary team in establishing clear goals and
recommendations that will assist in the recovery process whilst people are resident
on the acute wards and during the transition period back into the community.





To work as part of an integrated multi-professional team, ensuring good
communication and working relationships with other professionals in hospital and
in the community.
• Contribute to the induction, training or education of a variety of staff, students or
volunteers.
• Maintain confidentiality and a high professional standard in client care at all times
in line with the COT code of practice.
• To be prepared to work flexible hours occasionally if this is required to meet the
needs of the service.
