Your new company
We are looking for a qualified nursery practitioner to join our team at a well-established nursery in Worthing. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them. The nursery has been established for over ten years and is part of a small chain of nurseries across West Sussex. The chain as a whole is one of the largest childcare providers, with over twenty five years experience. The nursery has multiple areas that the children can choose to play and learn within. These areas include; construction areas, messy play, investigation areas, role play areas, quiet areas and food zones. Each of the rooms are bright with open plan paces, providing lots of natural light. Each room offers age and stage appropriate activities aimed to support children growing and developing within their environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
- To plan and deliver activities that are appropriate for the age and stage of development of the children.
- To maintain accurate records of the children's progress and development.
- To work in partnership with parents and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Requirements:
- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range of £19,292 to £19,678 per annum.
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
