An exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Practitioner Nurse to join the Haringey Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team has arisen. This is a permanent, full time position that will require working on rotation including night shifts, however, we are very flexible with individual's shift requests. The HCRHTT is a 7 day per week/24hours a day service which provides urgent care for people experiencing mental health crisis as an alternative to hospital admission. The CRHTT is crucial in delivering urgent crisis resolution assessments and treatment for service users by assessing their needs and caring for them in the least restrictive environment.

We are looking for motivated, positive and committed individual to join our well established, supportive and dynamic team with excellent clinical and risk assessment skills which will allow further professional development.

We require an experienced Band 6 RMN (or an experienced Band 5 RMN who is looking for a promotion) and can bring their own professional expertise to our fast-paced team. The right candidate should be confident in managing risk in the least restrictive way with support from the team. By its nature, crisis work requires professionals who have a broad range of skills including being skilled mental health assessors with an ability to signpost service users towards the most effective treatment pathways.

Working for a Crisis Home Treatment team in Haringey means no two days are the same. The service we provide is critical to those in a mental health crisis and helps enable specialist support from the onset. We are an urgent care service and aim to respond at the soonest opportunity to ensure seamless care and better outcomes for patients.

We are one of the largest employers in North London with over 3000 staff delivering a range of mental health and community services to a population of over one million. In Enfield, we provide a full range of child and adult community health services, which over the last few years has been integrating with its mental health services to provide better and more holistic care. BEH manages the renowned North London Forensic Services (NLFS) which delivers MH care across some of the prisons and provides MH services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury. We are rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC. We have also been appointed as the lead provider of forensic mental health services across North London managing the devolved New Models of care budget of £170m from 2018/19. Supervision will be offered regularly, alongside regular team meetings, and opportunities to engage with clinical supervision. This ensures that staff feel valued, supported and have access to the correct support.
