Summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you an Senior Quantity Surveyor? Do you have recent experience working on Water treatment projects? Are you looking for a new role with a well establish water contractor?

If the answer is yes, then this is the perfect opportunity with a well known water contractor, who hold an excellent reputation in the local region.

We are currently recruiting for an Senior Quantity Surveyor, based around the Thame Water area but there is flexibility for a hybrid role. The contractor we are working alongside deal with all aspects of water treatment upgrades. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, who ideally has a background within this area.



Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Rate: £450 - £500 per day

Contract Type: Freelance

Location: Bournemouth, Devon

Start Date: ASAP

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with procurement
  • Issuing Sub contract drafts
  • Collating information for monthly reporting (CVR)
  • Ensuring all paperwork goes out with the correct items
  • Sub contract management of new and existing projects
  • Dealing with any pricing variations
  • Responsible for project changes and variations
  • Reporting into a project commercial lead

Alongside this, your Requirements within this role includes:

  • Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying
  • Excellent IT and maths skills are essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent report writing
  • Experience in utilities or highways is desirable
  • NEC experience
