About the role L&D Specialist
We are seeking an experienced L&D professional, passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential through continuous learning and development to join our team.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, your role involves designing, facilitating, implementing and evaluating a range of learning, development and talent solutions, mainly for our Group Services, in line with the L&D strategy and in support of our Learning Philosophy. The small but successful team you will join sits within the wider HR function. You will enhance and protect the reputation of the team by bringing in-depth knowledge and experience of Learning and Development to identify training needs and recommend commercially focussed, innovative learning solutions to internal clients, collaborating with stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity that can be located at our Reading, Bracknell or Oxford campus with travel to other campuses required, combined with Hybrid working.

What do you need to be successful as a L&D Specialist at Activate Learning?

You will be highly experienced in the full range of L&D activities, such as identifying learning needs, virtual design and delivery, learning programme management, facilitation and evaluation of learning effectiveness, impact and value add.
Your strong interpersonal skills and personal credibility will allow you to quickly establish rapport and impact with internal clients.
You will have knowledge of up to date learning methodologies and learning best practice, together with excellent facilitation skills.
Previous experience of designing and delivering a broad range of development sessions together with Leadership/Management Development sessions is essential.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships across all levels in the organisation.
