Summary

We're recruiting experienced, dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to assist our clients with daily living skills and support them to live more independently. You will also need to work varied shift patterns and alternate weekends and have a flexible approach to work.
About the Service
The overall aim of our service is to promote greater independence, by enhancing life skills in areas such as activities of daily living, budgeting and home management.
Our clients have a range of complex Mental Health and/or learning difficulties. You'll be making a real difference by empowering clients to review choices and behaviours and make positive changes to their lifestyles.
We encourage individuals to engage with the local community as well as other support services, to lead as active and fulfilling a life as possible. Our staff team work jointly, to provide group activities, as well as individually, which encourages the development of their skills and experience.
Requirements
* The ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
* You will be required to administer medication, complete cleaning and household tasks and provide support to clients through the day or night when required. This may include Personal Care tasks, supporting them in and around the community and with financial matters.
* You will be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed in line with CQC and company guidelines. This role includes observing, monitoring and recording client information, and providing support.
* Experience with autism. mental health, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, complex care is essential. We will support you through your Health and Social Care qualifications.
* MOVING & HANDLING, Hoisting experience preferred
* CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR EXPERIENCE preferred
