Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Undergraduate Medical Education Administratorin the North Bristol Academy based in the Learning & Research Building at Southmead Hospital.
The North Bristol Academy team supports University of Bristol medicals students on their clinical placements at Southmead Hospital. The team plays an important role within the wider context of medical education at North Bristol Trust (NBT).
The post is suitable for anyone with administrative experience in a large organisation who would like to find out more about Medical Education within a supportive environment.
Duties to include:
• Timetabling medical student teaching sessions.
• Organising clinic and theatre experiences for medical students.
• Liaising with clinical staff across NBT.
• Liaising with medical school staff.
• Assisting with medical student assessments.
• Attending University of Bristol meetings.
• General office administration.

3 Undergraduate Medical Education Administrators, 1 Undergraduate Medical Education Deputy Manager, 1 Undergraduate Medical Education Manager and 1 Data Quality Project Manager work together in the Learning and Research building. We look after medical students from the University of Bristol in Years 1-5
We also work alongside 2 Academy Deans, Consultants from the Trust and 7 Clinical Teaching Fellows who are Junior Doctors
