In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
-To ensure the cleaning area and cupboard meets the requirements of the what good looks like procedure.
-To ensure cleaning equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order, i.e. PAT Tested, etc.
-To have a full knowledge and understanding of the cleaning specification, including cleaning tasks, frequencies and what good looks like to deliver the standards required.
-To maintain the designated areas to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevant SLA's, carrying out all daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed by your Line Manager.
-To have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises and to attend all necessary training to be enable to fulfil this requirement.
-To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies.
-To ensure all weekly documents are completed on site in line with Mitie policies.
-To use the In touch or ezitracker pining in and out system to verify attendance.
-To understand how to use on site machinary and carry out maintenance tasks to ensure the machinary is kept in good working condition.
-To be aware of material expenditure and avoid unnecessary waste.
-To report any maintenance defects to your line manager.
-To understand and observe Mitie's and Client site rules at all times.
-To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene is maintained and the personal hygiene and uniform policy is abided by.

-To be politie, courteous and profestional at all times
-Basic written and verbal English to understand Health and Safety practices and communicate effectively with the client and request additional duties.
-To have a flexible approach to the role
-Be friendly and have the ability to form excellent client relationships
-To be punctual and reliable
-To maintain a positive corporate image by wearing uniform at all times
-Able to use own initiative and carry out cleaning specification with minimal supervision.
