Summary
Registered Manager | Glasgow | Flexible working between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and on-call duties after hours and weekends | £33,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience and qualifications, plus car allowance
Established in 2017, our client, aims to deliver individualised, person-centred care in the comfort of clients' homes. They prioritise listening to clients, offering choices, and empowering them in decision-making.
They are seeking a manager who shares their passion, possesses a strong work ethics, and is knowledgeable about adult social care and regulatory standards. The role entails overseeing domiciliary care services, setting high standards, and fostering a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for clients.
You must be well-versed in legal and compliance requirements, adept at assessing client needs and risks to ensure safe care delivery.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent; willingness to pursue relevant management qualification
• SVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent
• You should already be registered with relevant bodies such as SSSC as a Manager
• Familiarity with Care Inspectorate expectations regarding notifications and legal obligations, as well as frameworks within Scotland, including Quality Assurance standards
• Essential nursing background due to the nature of complex care, mental health, autism, and learning disability support
• Proficient communication skills, adept at building positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Experience delivering social care with dignity, promoting independence, choice, and privacy
• Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Strong administrative skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in managing and developing staff, including recruitment, training, support, and supervision
• Ability to effectively plan, organise, and prioritise workload and team tasks to meet deadlines
• Collaborative team player
• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory standards
• Excellent time management and reliability
