Come and join our fantastic team of care workers who really make a difference to support the mental health and wellbeing of our residents in our CQC Outstanding rated care home – Montrose House, Ipswich.

Suffolk Mind is a registered charity promoting mental health and well-being services throughout Suffolk. Our small residential care home provides 24-hour care and support tailored to the needs of the individual.

We are looking for Waking Night Care workers who can support and empower our residents with daily living, attending medical appointments and who will get involved with activities such as music afternoons, bingo, movie night and more.

Post 1: Monday to Thursday, 21.45-07.45 (37hrs 36min)

£26,669.65 per annum (this is £22,224.71 plus 20% enhancement rate)



Post 2: Friday to Sunday, 21.45-07.45 (28hrs 12min)
£20,073.62 per annum (this is £16,728.02 plus 20% enhancement rate)




There is some flexibility to adjust the working pattern to different fixed nights (3 or 4 per week) or a rolling pattern (to discuss at interview stage).



Requirements for the role:

Previous experience in a caring role
Hold or be willing to work towards at least a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification
Good communicator
Flexible team player
Able to work night shifts and occasional day shifts for training and continuous professional development
