LTF Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Stafford, ST18. The inclusive primary school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them, supporting groups of students with special educational needs on a 1-1 and small group basis.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special educational needs
- Planning engaging learning activities and adjusting activities to pupils' needs as appropriate
- Delivering interventions for groups of learners such as phonics, reading
- Fostering relationships with staff, students, and parents
- Supporting students with ASD, ADHD
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom
Requirements:
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree
- Experience working with children or within a school environment
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs
- An Enhanced DBS and two references are a requirement for this role
