Summary
Job Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.
- Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students.
- Support students with personal care needs if required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
- Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Experience:
- Prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN support
- Experience working with a range of SEN conditions.
