Summary
We are looking for a Support Worker to support a client with a brain injury within the South Liverpool area.
Pay rates from £14 per hour PLUS Holiday Pay & Pension
Working Hours - Varied with some weekend work
FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO OWN CAR IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS THIS ROLE
This support worker role is to offer companionship to a Male within the South Liverpool area, you will also be required to -
• Offer social & emotional support
• Days out such as the garden centres, fishing, shopping & out for lunch etc
• Brain injury/stroke experience is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided
You may also be require to -
• Developing and maintaining personal relationships
• Moving & handling
• Personal care
Due to the nature of this care package we can only accept MALE applicants for this position as a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (please see “Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Work: exceptions, part 1 Occupational requirements”). You should have previous experience with in a UK Care setting, either professionally as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, or you may have looked after a family member.

• Must be 18 or over
• Must be flexible and able to work within the hours of 6:45am – 11pm with some weekend work
