A thriving primary school in the heart of Leeds is looking for a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their strong and growing school staff. With the school’s performance rising each year, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential!
The Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will involve working with students in either a one to one or small group setting, helping them within lessons, ensuring that they have a complete understanding of tasks and can complete their objectives in a timely fashion. This will also involve helping students to improve upon their literacy and numeracy so that they are able to complete the challenging work set for them by the class teacher. The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will also liaise with the class teacher on a regular basis to discuss each pupil’s progress/attainment and how best to cater towards each student moving forward.
