Summary

Our client is a trusted provider of damage restoration solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our employees and clients. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to lead our health and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and method statement development to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to management and staff on health and safety matters.
• Deliver engaging health and safety training programs to promote awareness and best practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of health and safety activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing method statements.
• Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
