Summary
Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of Breakfast Chef at the The Halyard, Rope Walks Liverpool. Reporting into the Head Chef, you will be responsible all aspects of managing the smooth kitchen operation of our Breakfast. Ensuring that all brand standards are adhered to and that excellent standards of service are delivered.
As the Breakfast Chef you will have the opportunity to develop skills and gain experience working across all areas of our busy kitchen which offers an iconic breakfast to our guests. Working mornings 5 days a week.
Main Duties:
Control of the breakfast service ensuring guests receive a delicious and memorable breakfast.
Providing both English and Continental breakfast selections.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the recipe and presented in the correct quantities.
Ensure that all products in place and prepared before the start of each service.
Assisting with wider kitchen chef duties including food preparation for other meal services.
Working to a high standard of work practice and hygiene.
Compliance with all relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards.
Assisting in the training and development of the Junior team members.
Skills & Experience:
Highly motivated all-rounder with experience working in hotel kitchens and modern cuisine.
Can demonstrate creativity and passion for delivering quality fresh food.
Excellent hygiene levels, hardworking and an adaptable team player.
Friendly and approachable attitude.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to cope under pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
