Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic chef who will join our team and help us take the food offering in this beautiful village pub to a new level. The ideal candidate will share the simple vision to provide high quality, exceptionally cooked, and well-presented traditional pub food.
Initial starting salary of £13-16 per hour - depending on experience - plus tips.
Other benefits include every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off, no late nights, and Sunday evenings off!
Duties include:
- Cooking and preparing good quality dishes- including vegan/gluten free dietary considerations
- Detailed allergens knowledge
- Responsible for all health and safety, food hygiene practices and COSHH within the kitchen
- Advise in procurement and ordering of locally sourced ingredients and kitchen stock management
-Assistance in creating seasonally balanced traditional pub menus and specials
- Competent level of English both spoken and written
-Must be able to get to the pub as there is minimal local public transport available

Weekly kitchen hours:
Thursday 4-8pm
Friday 4-8pm
Saturday 12-8pm
Sunday 12-4pm
Minimum chef hours including prep (so 30 guaranteed minimum hours per week):
Thursday 12pm-8.30pm
Friday 2pm-8.30pm
Saturday 11.30am-8.30pm
