Summary

We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team at Cardigan Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

The role includes:
• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards

On a day-to-day basis you will:
• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds.
• Setting up the tables and clearing as required;
• Recording the temperature of food;
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards;
• Ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling;
• General Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment

We are looking to recruit an individual with:
• Experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment
• Adaptability
