Summary
The Farmyard Nursery are looking for enthusiastic practitioners to join their dedicated team in a rural farm setting. Our sister setting, The Woodyard Forest School (located at the same site), are also looking for a practitioner to work on a temporary contract to cover maternity (with the possibility of becoming permanent, depending on number of children).
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, The Farmyard Nursery seeks people who are ideally qualified to a Level 2 or higher in childcare with at least 1 years nursery experience. You will need an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to use and enjoy the huge outside space the nursery has at it's disposal. The successful candidates must be confident in planning activities and good at observations to track their key children. Activities will need to be planned on a daily basis therefore it is essential the candidates are able to do this.
Applicants must be prepared to spend large amounts of time outside at all times of the year and the successful candidate must be suitably dressed for working outside. All appointments are subject to appropriate DBS clearances and references.
We are looking for full time and/or part time practitioners and we are also keen to seek out some bank staff for our settings. We are looking at applicants with SEN experience too for a separate INA job role.
All staff will need to start at 8am (with the opportunity to start at 7am sometimes if preferred) and finish at 4/4:15pm or a bonus if you can finish at 6pm sometimes.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a rural setting in Ashburnham and therefore do not have any access to public transport, so you must be able to drive or be able to have someone drive you to the setting.
